There are five ways to buy Amazon DSP advertising, and each one costs something different. This page lists them, then lists the companies that focus only on Amazon DSP, with what they charge and what you can see before booking a call.
If you want the basics first, start with what Amazon DSP is and how it works.
The short answer
| Route | Suits | Minimum spend | Fee | Whose seat | Your own AMC |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Direct with Amazon | Brands already spending heavily on Amazon ads | Starting at $50k a month | Built into Amazon's pricing | Yours | Yes |
| Agency that holds a seat | Brands that want it run for them | Usually none | A share of spend or a retainer | The agency's | No |
| Tech or resale partner | Brands that want software and reduced media rates | Varies | Minimum fee plus up to 5% of spend | The partner's or yours | Depends |
| Advertiser rental | Teams that want to run it themselves without a seat | None | Flat monthly fee or about 5% of spend | The seat holder's | No |
| Amazon DSP test account | Anyone who wants to see the console first | None, nothing spends | Free | Test account | No |
The five routes
A seat is the Amazon DSP account itself. An advertiser is one brand inside a seat, and a seat can hold many. Every route below either gives you your own seat or puts you as an advertiser inside someone else's.
1. Direct with Amazon
You get your own seat, through Amazon's managed service or self service. Expect a minimum starting at $50,000 a month, often a $150,000 commitment over the first three months. Amazon usually only reaches out if you already spend millions on sponsored ads, and at that spend it tends to push upper funnel work, so fast return on ad spend rarely shows for smaller brands.
2. An agency that holds a seat
You become an advertiser inside the agency's seat. You skip Amazon's minimum and borrow their experience, but you run on their priorities and their reporting cadence. Ask for read access to your own advertiser before you sign, so you can see what is happening without waiting for a report.
3. Tech and resale partners
Amazon Ads partners such as Perpetua, Pacvue, Intentwise, Quartile and VICTOR.AD sell software on top of Amazon DSP. Expect a minimum fee plus up to 5% of spend. Resellers sit in the same group: Havas Market, for example, advertises “self service DSP with reduced media rates for advertisers of all sizes” as an Ad Tech Resale Partner.
These are examples from Amazon's partner directory, not recommendations.
4. Advertiser rental
A seat holder creates a single advertiser for you and you run it yourself. You pay a flat monthly fee or a cut of spend, usually around 5%. You get the console without Amazon's minimum, but the seat is not yours. These are the kind of seats we usually give our clients.
5. Amazon DSP test accounts
A real Amazon DSP account on your own Amazon login, capped so it cannot spend. You get the real interface, the audience picker and the streaming supply, and nothing serves. It is the cheapest way to find out whether Amazon DSP is worth pursuing before you commit to any of the routes above. Every VICTOR.AD signup, free tier included, gets one.
Where AMC fits
Amazon Marketing Cloud sits at advertiser level. In the past a seat holder could not share it with you without exposing their other clients. This changed and now every advertiser gets its own AMC if the seat holder decides to share it.

How to choose
- You spend less than $50,000 a month and want your own seat. Amazon will not take you directly yet. Use an agency, a partner or advertiser rental, and plan to move to your own seat once spend justifies it.
- You do not sell on Amazon. Every company on this list takes non Amazon sellers. Aparagon is built around them.
- You are an agency planning for several clients. You need plans and client decks produced fast, pushed into the account your clients already have. That is what VICTOR.AD is built for.
- You want someone else to run it day to day. Look at the agencies, the managed service options from Gigi, Vowmade and Aparagon, or the VICTOR.AD managed service.
- You want the full picture of spend before signing anything. remktr and VICTOR.AD publish prices. Everyone else needs a call.
- You just want to see the console first. Get an Amazon DSP test account. Nothing spends, and you can decide which route fits afterwards.
Where VICTOR.AD fits, and where it does not
VICTOR.AD plans Amazon DSP campaigns. You describe the product or paste an Amazon link, set the goal, and it builds the strategy with real audiences and supply, then exports a deck you can present to a client in under 10 minutes. When the plan is approved, it pushes into Amazon DSP as a draft, and nothing goes live until you launch it.

It is not a campaign management platform. If you want day to day optimisation, that is the managed service at 5% of spend, or one of the agencies above. It is also newer and smaller than most of the companies on this page.
FAQ
What is the minimum spend for Amazon DSP advertising?
Going direct with Amazon usually means at least $50,000 a month, often with a $150,000 commitment over the first three months. Through an agency, a partner or advertiser rental there is often no minimum, though some agencies set their own, such as remktr's $10,000 per campaign.
Can I use Amazon DSP if I do not sell on Amazon?
Yes. Amazon DSP buys ads on Amazon's own sites and on third party apps, sites and streaming services, and it does not require an Amazon store. Every company on this page works with brands that do not sell on Amazon.
What is the difference between an Amazon DSP agency and an Amazon DSP tool?
An agency runs campaigns for you, usually inside its own seat, and charges a share of spend. A tool gives you software to plan, build or run campaigns yourself. Several tools on this page also offer a managed service, so the line between the two is blurring.
Is Amazon DSP worth it for smaller brands?
It can be, but not at any budget and not for every goal. Amazon DSP rewards retargeting and audiences built on shopping data, and it punishes broad upper funnel spend with no measurement plan. Start with a test account, build a plan, and see whether the audiences and supply you need are there before committing budget.
Is this the same as Amazon's DSP delivery programme?
No. Amazon DSP advertising is Amazon's demand side platform for buying ads. Amazon's Delivery Service Partner programme is a separate business for running delivery routes and is not covered here.
